In terms of the size of this knife, what you get is a 10 inch knife with a 4.5 inch blade that weighs 9.4 ounces. OK, so right off the bat, what really stands out about this particular survival knife is the fact that not only does it feature a full tang design, but it also features a ground out and hollow handle. In other words, the handle on this knife looks like the frame of a handle, but is missing the side plates, so it actually looks a lot like a throwing knife, complete with a large finger loop on the end of the handle.
Now, some people might not find this to be overly comfortable to hold, but it is durable, and moreover, very lightweight too. The fact that there is barely any handle material does help to keep the weight of this knife down. It comes in at around 1 pound flat.
Do keep in mind that this is a fairly small knife that Comes in at just 6.25 inches long with a blade that is 2.875 inches long. As you can tell, it is a very small, lightweight, and portable knife that definitely comes in handy in terms of user friendliness. What is important to note here is that you can choose between 440C stainless steel and 1095 carbon steel models. Stainless steel isn’t quite as durable as carbon steel, but it is more rustproof.

High carbon steel is of course extremely durable and allows for great at retention, but as is the case, it’s not the best in terms of corrosion resistance. This is a full tang knife, so that is definitely something that helps increase its overall durability and its balance.
The knife itself comes in at 8.9 inches long, with an overall blade length of 4.19 inches. The blade thickness is 0.125 inches, and the weight of this knife is just 6.3 ounces.
As you can tell, although it’s definitely not the shortest knife in the world, but it also doesn’t weigh very much, thus providing you with the best of both worlds. It’s big enough to take care of most basic tasks while also being small and lightweight enough to not weigh you down or get in your way.
The black oxide finish of the blade combined with the bronze sculpted micarta handle definitely looks cool, not to mention that the handle has a pretty good texture as well, although it may be a bit slippery when wet.
